My name is Kai and I am a lifelong artist native to Huntsville, Texas. I graduated Sam Houston State University with a bachelor’s in Business Administration and Marketing and currently am working towards launching my LLC Lined By Kai, which houses all my creative projects, including the graphic novel series I’ve been working on for a while, Martyr the Bride.

My body of work ranges from black and white ink illustrations with lots of fine detail, to large, colorful murals and paintings. Most of my art is mixed media, using both wet and dry mediums. I am heavily inspired by rock and heavy metal music, as well as the goth and punk scene, and affectionately categorize myself as ‘yallternative’. I lead a quiet life living near horse pastures and country roads with my ragdoll cat Skyler. When I’m not working or creating art, I’m outside on local trails or going to punk or rock shows.
